When traveling in British Columbia, and Washington state in Mega OHMS I paid anywhere from $5.25 to $5.17 for a gallon of gasoline.
Filling up a ½ tank on mega OHMS for $80.00 brought back a vivid
memory of nixon imposing the 55 mile per hour speed limit in order to save
fuel.
So, I slowed down to 55, and guess what. Mega OHMS managed 15.5
mpg over a tank. I am thinking that is not to bad for a F Three Hundred & Fifty
Camper van.
The people that voted for republicans and supported them
when they dismantled our government are now screaming about unregulated capitalism
gouging them for gas.
These are also the same people that drive giant pickup
trucks with trump flags, that pass you going a 80 mph without a care in the
world about miles per gallon, their carbon footprint, or how close we are to eliminating
democracy here.
Tomorrow I take OHMS east for my last motorbike road trip. The price of fuel won't be such a concern, and I might even treat the bike to some Ethel.
