Alaska Public Media KSKA on the radio and KAKM on the television has for a while now produced some excellent short videos on everyday life in Alaska. I thought I would share this one aboot Mako Water Taxi in Homer. Having sailed with Mako I would recommend him for any excursion out of Homer. His boats are clean, safety equipment is up to date, and if Mako says he will pick you up off a beach by Seldovia at 10:00 pm he will be there at 10:00 p.m. You better be too.
