Happy Labor Day Again!

Most years we only get to celebrate  once the sacrifices made by others that provide us with a 40 hour work week, a safe workplace, employer benefits, a living wage, child labor laws, unemployment insurance, health care…

But thanks to Wisconsin Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas we get to celebrate Labor Day twice this year!

Seems, Judge Colas threw out the entire law that banned public employees from taking part in collective bargaining. He ruled the law put into place by Wisconsin’s regressive governor scott walker, violates the Wisconsin and the United States Constitution because he says the law "single out and encumber the rights of those employees who choose union membership and representation solely because of that association and therefore infringe upon the rights of free speech and association guaranteed by both the Wisconsin and United States Constitutions."

Regressive Governor walker called Judge Colas get this… a “liberal activist" who "wants to go backwards and take away the lawmaking responsibilities of the legislature and the governor, and the state will appeal.

Well Governor walker when t bag regressives like yourself pass laws that violate the Constitution and take away workers’ rights / human rights all we can do is go back and fix the mess you make.
Bravo Judge Colas, and Happy Labor Day!
