Dr Martin Luther King

Dr King January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968

Dr King changed the world for the better. He did it without violence. He was attacked  by  angry police with guns, fire hoses and dogs. He marched against white segregationists who violently assaulted him and  the marchers. He was arrested and jailed, by the raciest Governor of Alabama George Wallace. He faced opposition  from Senators like strom thurmond, who became a republican so he could continue to oppose  the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and just about anything else that furthered Civil or Human  Rights's Progress
Unlike the present leader of the republican party Reince Priebus who claims to have five. When he was assassinated in 1968 Dr. King  didn't even own a gun!
But James Earl Ray did. So did Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. Lee Harvey Oswald, was a  gun owner, along with his killer Jack Leon Ruby. And tragically in Arizona Jared Loughner, was locked and loaded with Glock's .

We keep the dream alive, those of us who were politically aware in the 1960's. We triumphed over the blatant jim crow racism of the past, but the job isn't done. Those of us that saw that hate in action will never forget!
Fear, violence, and ignorance  still permeate, everyday out of millions of radio's and tvees. The narrow minded absorb it's simplistic drone and follow along, on there own personal crusade.Fearfully  it's a unstoppable force.
Dr. King a toast to your memory...To a world that lives in peace Dr. King...To a world that lives in peace
