NRA

The Post Office authorized this stamp to direct attention and arouse support for the National Recovery Act.
The N. R. A. stamp was first placed on sale August 15, 1933, at Washington, D.C.

In the midst of the depression  President Franklin D. Roosevelt. created the National Industrial Recovery Act. An attempt to stimulate economic recovery, and establish a national  public works program.  The act itself was a political failure for Roosevelt. It was declared unconstitutional in 1935  The NRA quickly stopped operations, but many of its labor provisions reappeared in the National Labor Relations Act (Wagner Act), passed later the same year. Because of the NRA the National Labor Relations Act was created. That legislation fortunately is still with us and gives workers a voice through collective bargaining.  Has made workers rights,  workplace safety, working hours, the weekend, all a  part of American life.

The Koch brothers would love to have a country where the only workplace rule is they make even more money.

Spreading fear and promoting ignorance is the way of the Brothers Koch.  Our soul  Representatives young ding  was elected for a twentieth term mainly because being endorsed by the National Rifle Association  is important to people that think Erik Holder and the President with dark skin is coming to take their weapons  away.
