11 11 1918

Remembrance Day, Poppy Day,  Armistice Day or just good old Veterans Day  is observed on November 11 to recall the official end of World War 1. The papers to end the war were signed at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

When World War 1 ended it was a happy day.  Peace was at hand. Lots of people thought ww1 was so horrible, and the circumstances that caused it would never rear its head again.

We never really solved the real problems. People still lived in poverty. People were hungry. Not everyone could get education.

Who could we blame? Who could we hate? Who could get god  to give us a break?

We did it again World War Two. When it ended the world rejoiced! My parents, and the world danced in the streets. Peace was at hand. Everyone knew it was so horrible that it would never happen again.

Unfortunately that World War made our economy sustainable.

Build weapons. Kill humans. Build more weapons

No real problems were solved.

People are still going to bed hungry.

Education is not in every ones reach.

Almost seven billion humans are pushing the limits of our planet.
