Weed

Taraxacum officinale
Dandelion

If you were alive on May 4, 1970 most likely at some point in your day you would have had some weed. You would have needed it! Seems that on April 30, 1970 Richard Nixon, one of the greatest republican presidents we have ever had, told the nation that we, well  American  was going to invade Cambodia.
Now old Nixon thought this was a great idea. Hay he had been secretly bombing it for months, so naturally invasion sounded like a even better way to keep the military industrial complex humming right along.
Unlike today, the youth that would have to go invade Cambodia, didn't have a choice. They just got Drafted   and off they went to war. Lots of them didn't want to go off to war, they just wanted more weed, oh and a education and money houses the hole middle class thing.

Four Dead In Ohio

But May 4 1970 around 12:25  the Ohio national guard fired 67 shots in 13 seconds and killed four innocent college students.
The war dragged on. The protests dragged on.
Some say this was the beginning of the end for Nixon, and it certainty was the end for Allison Krause and Jeffrey Miller,  Sandra Scheuer and William Knox Schroeder.

The endless war goes on, and on...

Peace; It's Still a Good Idea
